As an agency that's primary focus, is the representation of work created for young and beginning readers; it is our hope to do more than merely entertain them. We also hope to provide them with some of the valuable Social tools they're sure to need as they grow. These days children, 5 yrs. to 50 yrs. i.e., "Special-needs", are being constantly challenged by having to interact in, new, and more complex situations . . . especially in today's ever changing, technology focused world. Which is why, as a Mother and Grandmother, as-well-as Owner of this agency, it is my belief that this goal, must - come - first. In addition, and for those self-same reasons; it must be noted that the leading research (past and present) has proven: Both at home and in the classroom, children are much more likely to learn, if they find joy in the lesson, along with a challenge. In addition, all of C.J. Glass Literary's children's picture books, provide lessons that are taught with patience, love and kindness.
Charlie Cheetah, for example, is not only a story your child will find both captivating and imaginative, but it will hold their attention, as they watch Charlie solve his difficulties through careful thought, compromise, and forgiveness.
However, the author, through the lack of direct reference to this process, grants the Parent/Educator a means to assist the Child/Children (through their own interaction and participation) to draw this conclusion for themselves: Knowing that these virtues are necessary for a child's, healthy, and progressive Social-development.
So, Friend and Reader, in conclusion I encourage you: Come see what we are doing. I have published below samples of our children's and kids books currently in the illustrative process. Here at C.J.G.L., our Illustrator's are working tirelessly, so that very soon you will be able to experience these works in their full magnificence and splendor.
Please email us and tell us what you like.
Perhaps then we will choose YOUR favorite to publish next. . ..
OOOOh wouldn't that be fun!
Thank you
